Weird Foam Appears On Japanese Streets After Earthquakes

By  |

A weird and mysterious foam has appeared in Japan after the 2 earthquakes recently hit the country.

People walking by and even people driving were surprised by the strange bubbles that came up when the magnitude 7.3 quake shook the Kumamoto region on the south-western island of Kyushu Saturday morning

Surprised motorists and passers-by took photos of the strange bubbles that sprung up when a magnitude-7.3 quake shook the Kumamoto region on the south-western island of Kyushu early on Saturday, enough to take photos and post them to twitter.

The second earthquake took place Thursday night and had a magnitude of 6.5.

Reports about the foam in Tenjin, Fukuoka city, was all due to the pipes underground bursting, but this information has yet to be confirmed official.

Sadly, the devastation has killed 41 people, injured around 1,500, and left hundreds of thousands without water or electricity.

Rain has also been forecast to start pounding the area overnight, threatening to further complicate the relief operations.

Please send your prayers to those currently in the middle of this disaster.
